Short-format Creations
With the rise of short-form content like Reels, using Stars and Gifts to signal high-quality content has become exceptionally valuable.
When a member want to send a gift to their favorite reels, they can send a Gift of their choice to the Creator.
Gifts are purchased with Stars. When the balance is low, Members can top off the balance.
The system is also valuable in the Instagram community with Reels.
Visual Delight
At the peak moment when paid gifts came to life, visual delight was essential. I designed a scalable Virtual Gifts system that ensured clarity and impact from thumbnails to immersive full-screen animations, enhancing how users express appreciation.
